Draw around the metal onto the wood.

using multi tool cut out. Cut to the out side of the pencil line, there will give you some room to sand into shape.

Clean metal up a little, rather like its earthy patina!

Leather from a discarded bag. I am using a pocket knife to create a hole, so i can get my scissors in, and I can the cut out a section of the leather.

Change from blade....., via allen key

To sand paper.

We will get the big boy in later.

Sand off edges with block and sand paper.

Not necessarily the way one should do things, but this is how I am doing it, and Hannibal Lectern is in the background to offer support.

Scribe (scratch) a line.

Mark where you want the drill holes, I am using an automatic center punch which is just gorgeous.

Drill press, not the best one in the world, but we muddle though.

Mark out on the leather where I need to punch holes in the leather.

Crop a dile, by "We are memory makers"

Punching dots where I want to drill in the wood. I require an odd number of holes as I will be using saddle stitch to join them together.

Blind riveters and setter.

BIG OPPPS! here. didnt think about the diameter of the wasters, luckily for me they JUST fit!!!!! Note to self, WAKE-UP!

Drilling holes in wood.

Removing burrs from the back of the holes.

Marking out these holes on the leather.

Jewelry cord and book binding threads.

Using braddle to enlarge holes in leather.

Size 18 tapastray needle. 

Go all the in one direction.....,

then back in the other, saddle stitch.

Tie off, right over left left over right....,

And burn ends of threads, trim off excess leather.

Job well done, always desires a reward.

1. Phaff embellishing machine.
2. Scissors.

This is an Embellishing machine. Looks like a sewing machine, but it's not.

Instead of one needle, it has five, all with barbs on them. No thread is used. 

Felt and organza.

Joining the two fabrics together by fusing the fabrics.

Different types of Velcro.

You need two pieces, hooks and loops.

Third set of three materials

1. Paper.
2. Card.
3. Acetate.

Method of joining

1. Double sided sticky tape.
2. Paper fasteners.

Tools used

1. Paper trimmer.
2. Cinch.
3. Scissors.

Cutting materials to size

Cinch, double sided tape and paper fasteners.

Book binding equipment, punches holes
