Co-Neck-Shun!

OR...., An Embarrassment of wealth necklace.

Here we go, this is just an ordinary necklace salvaged from a car boot sale. A mystery metal to me, but no worries as we will be only using cold connection fabrication on this piece

I do not want this chain its full length, but I do want it twice as thick! Easy job, double it up!
Take the end piece off by opening its jump ring.....

finding the middle of the chain and reconnecting the fastener.

Perfect.
Now I shall join the two strands of chain together with jump rings.

Tiny bead and bead pin.

These are just tiny pencils with wire wrapped around the top and a loop created as a means to connect it to the chain via jump ring.
Length of small gauge chain,
threaded through the eyelet.
Added to the chain with a jump ring.
Now I had a problem. The paper clay pendent was finding her job difficult, and bending a little too much for my liking so I had to come up with a cunning plan. Gel Medium......
And old book paper, It seems to be working. Will use fired clay in future.
This empty cabinet was thrown out by a local museum  a few years ago, along with its brothers and sisters. He moved in with me,
And has been a joy ever since, housing all sorts of treasures.
Lets gather some stuff!

"Do you want bells on it?", yes please!

The next in this series needs to have all my  hand made pieces on it, with tube and wire rivets..., yummy!
