Also I may wish to cast items I want to use.

Two part mold making. This is what the dentist use. 

I made a mold of the German dolls face.

Then cast them in paper clay.....,

nice and light.

You can paint them, but not for this project.

You could also use the silicon sealant/cornflower idea, and make molds of toys etc. Cast them in air dry clay.

Sanding down the backs of the dolls face. 

If the back is nice and flat, better contact with the bib base.

This is the Sissix, big shot Express. It is a die cutting machine.

Cutting plates...., well worn!

Shims, for use when cutting with different size dies.

Feed in though the machine. This one has a motor, most are hand cranked.

The waist, makes great stencils.

Flowers, from re purposed pizza box.

Start building. Just like the flower boarders, biggest to the back, little to the front!

Sew in place.

Trim off the access.

Plastering mesh..., or great texture.

Going around the edge with the sewing machine.
