The Signatures

WARNING, this will be really boring if you don't like paper and books,. You have been warned! The only items that were paid for in this make, were the fixings.  Glues, tapes, thread, paper clips, paper fasteners, and staples.
A big THANK YOU to The Ephemera Etc Group, for bringing me their rubbish!
Just sizing up.

Piles of stuff to create the signature
For junk journaling, you really have to think outside the tissue box.

Template for ovals.

Corrin nose bag, will be turned into two pockets. They have even given me a line of stitch to follow.

Turn it back on its self.

Away to go.
Using stitch cradle and bradawl to mark out and create holes for stitching the signatures.
A bit wonky, but the box is so lets not worry about it.

Obviously needs more things/paper/photos/tickets,placing inside, but over time.

Photo frame from tissue box.
Adding pictures and photographs that were in the junk, given to me.
Graphics from calendars and other ephemera
Plates from books.

All the items used in making the above book, were rubbish. People were going to throw them away. In the bin, recycle, whatever. I am sure there are those out there who think you should still just
throw in with the rubbish, but each to their own. So the next comment, "What can you do use it for?" Let me count the ways.

..., but in a hundred years when someone picks this up at a car boot sale and rejoices in seeing vintage images and adverts and typography., as I did when I bought a A4 Boots Cash Chemists Diary from 1913, with adverts...., wondrous. And I know what the weather was like every day of 1913 in a corner of England.
